After spending 26 years serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, Victor retired. However, anyone who knows Victor at all knows that the retired life was not for him. In March of 2015 Victor and Maha became the proud new owners of Cedar Nights restaurant, a restaurant that hadn't quite yet gained traction in the Belleville area, until now!

Both Victor and Maha have Palestinian roots. Due to certain circumstances Victor grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and Maha grew up in Amman, Jordan. After finding each other they moved to Canada where they had two children.
